Magnesium sulfate alleviates postoperative pain
We explored the impact of magnesium sulfate on managing pain following total knee arthroplasty. In a randomized, double-blind trial with 90 patients, half received a blend of analgesics that included magnesium sulfate, while the other half did not.

Following surgery, the results showed that magnesium sulfate helped prolong pain relief and reduced the need for opioids. Patients receiving it experienced less postoperative pain and moved towards recovery more effectively.

Overall, adding magnesium sulfate appears beneficial for postoperative knee pain management.

Magnesium aids postoperative pain relief
We explored the role of magnesium in reducing knee pain following total knee arthroplasty (TKA). In a study involving 119 adults, participants received either an adductor canal block with magnesium and bupivacaine or just bupivacaine.

Those who received magnesium reported significantly lower pain scores and reduced opioid usage in the days after surgery, without experiencing an uptick in nausea or dissatisfaction. This suggests that adding magnesium to local anesthesia could enhance pain management for TKA patients, promoting a smoother recovery.

Magnesium reduces postoperative knee pain
We evaluated the impact of magnesium sulphate on pain levels for 44 patients undergoing staged bilateral total knee arthroplasty.

In this study, the magnesium group received magnesium sulphate while the control group received isotonic saline during their surgeries.

Our findings showed that those who received magnesium experienced significantly lower pain scores compared to the control group, both after their first and second surgeries.

Importantly, magnesium also helped reduce the need for additional pain relief medications in the days following surgery.

Best Mg I've ever used! This magnesium is superb! As a naturopath, I’ve tried many kinds of magnesium, but this one truly induces calmness, balance and helps me sleep soundly through the night. It was just a few days before I noticed this change, and now, after about three weeks, my neck and muscle pain has also dissipated. Very pleased with this product. Thank you!

High-quality, effective magnesium! I consistently buy magnesium for my family, particularly for my father, who struggles with joint and muscle pain. Initially, the doctor recommended three capsules daily; however, we opted for one prior to bed. Now, my father enjoys undisturbed sleep and does not awaken from pain. The effects were noticeable very quickly, making this form of neuromagnesium a staple in our household.

Magnesium and bupivacaine effective
We evaluated how effective magnesium, especially when combined with bupivacaine, is for managing knee pain after arthroscopy. Our study looked at data from 78 randomized trials involving 4,425 participants.

It turns out that magnesium with bupivacaine is the top performer in easing pain right after surgery and at the 24-hour mark, outperforming other analgesics like morphine.

However, magnesium alone didn’t show significant pain relief. We found that using this combination does not lead to more side effects, making it a safe choice for recovery.

Magnesium reduces post-surgery pain
We looked into how magnesium can help ease knee pain after total knee arthroplasty. In a study of 80 patients, those who received an injection of magnesium sulfate and ropivacaine experienced significantly less pain and needed less morphine compared to those who got a saline injection. This approach not only reduced morphine use in the first 48 hours but also allowed patients to regain movement quicker. Overall, our findings suggest that magnesium may be a beneficial part of pain management in knee surgery.

Magnesium Threonate is of very high quality and highly absorbed. It’s a bit pricey but sometimes discounted. Safe for breastfeeding and contains only quality ingredients, no gluten or milk. This magnesium is quickly absorbed, providing relief from muscle pain during pregnancy within 15 minutes of taking it. I strongly recommend this product after trying various types of magnesium. Always consult a doctor beforehand.

Muscle tension relief

This magnesium has proven to be one of the best types I’ve used over three months. It has alleviated muscle and joint pain, reduced tension, and promoted deep sleep. I take one pill before bed with a large glass of water as it dissolves in water. I’ve also noticed improved concentration since starting. With a package holding 90 tablets, it's sufficient for three months and binds very well.

This product did not assist with my migraine; instead, it heightened the pain. I initially hoped for an improvement, but pain arose at the first trial. I thought it was a coincidence, yet after three attempts, the pain recurred. Unfortunately, this is not the medication for me.

This is salvation! I took this magnesium to my mother, who suffers from tonic convulsions, and following her covid recovery, everything worsened, causing terrible convulsive pains. She takes it alongside other medications and a different magnesium form, and I must say, it has significantly improved her condition!

Excellent product, top quality! The magnesium is carefully packaged and brewed meticulously. It’s a patented form (Magtein® = Magnesium L-Threonate) that effectively crosses the blood-brain barrier, increasing magnesium levels in the brain. This has enhanced my cognitive ability and reduced migraines as well as lessened muscle pain connected to fibromyalgia. My sleep has improved markedly. I highly recommend it based on my positive experience.

Magnesium enhances post-surgery pain relief
We examined the impact of magnesium sulfate paired with levobupivacaine on pain relief after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). In our study, 60 patients were divided into two groups: one received the magnesium cocktail, while the other only got levobupivacaine. Our findings revealed that the magnesium group experienced prolonged pain relief, reduced reliance on additional pain medication, and effective management of early postoperative pain. Overall, this suggests that magnesium sulfate could be a valuable addition to pain management protocols following knee surgery.

Magnesium injection enhances pain control
We investigated the effectiveness of an intra-operative injection combining magnesium sulphate and ropivacaine on pain relief after total knee arthroplasty.

Our study involved eighty patients who were divided into two groups. One group received the magnesium and ropivacaine mixture, while the other received a saline control.

The results showed that those receiving the magnesium injection had significantly lower morphine use and better pain scores during the first day after surgery. They also regained mobility quicker than the control group.

Overall, magnesium demonstrated promising benefits for managing post-operative pain.
